Project Summary:

GetHR is a streamlined mobile application built to simplify leave management for both employees and HR managers. This side project focused on improving transparency, reducing administrative effort, and making leave processes accessible anytime, anywhere, particularly for organizations still reliant on outdated systems.

I led the full UX strategy, research, user flow planning, and UI design for both employee- and HR-facing experiences.

Problem Statement:

Traditional leave systems are often time-consuming, non-transparent, and inaccessible on mobile. Employees struggle to view balances or get approval updates, while HR managers manually handle overwhelming request volumes.

Solution:

getHR simplifies the leave management process with a mobile-optimized, user-centric system for applying, tracking, and approving leaves. The platform supports real-time notifications, role-based dashboards, and data transparency for all users.

• Priya (HR Manager): Needs to track and approve requests efficiently, with clarity and reports
